Fees for consultation, assistance, advice, drafting of private legal documents, and litigation are freely set in agreement with the client.
(Article 10 of the Law of December 31, 1971)
To avoid any misunderstanding, the firm uses a fee agreement system—a formal contract outlining the methods for determining fees, payment terms, and the reciprocal obligations of both the lawyer and the client.
Fee calculations will therefore be established according to the following methods:
The initial consultation is free if the case is entrusted to the Firm. Otherwise, it will be billed at the hourly rate.
In any event, an engagement letter will be signed by the client, specifying the fee arrangements as well as the special conditions and the scope of the counsel’s representation.
For individuals with limited resources, I also work under the legal aid system (total or partial), depending on the case and provided that the eligibility criteria are met. If applicable, we will complete the legal aid application form together.
We also work within the framework of legal protection coverage you may have (insurance company, credit card, mutual insurance, etc.).
Please note that you are not required to use the lawyer proposed to you under your legal protection insurance.
You have full freedom of choice.
